You really do have to question who knows what when it comes to solving the climate change problem. Sure there is not a simple answer to solving complex problems like balancing economies and reducing carbon in an industrialised nation! However, surely Australia should be looking at sustainability as an opportunity to revolutionise the economy (and society). What is the risk? Take the safe option and end up with economic catastrophe anyway when the polar ice caps melt!
