This is so hot off the press that we haven’t even had time to upload it to our portfolio page yet.
If you go back through our portfolio you’ll see that last year we created IFAW’s Save the Whales campaign with a series of 3D installation posters featuring blood and would be whale guts spewed all over the footpath.
This year we’ve gone bigger and better and moved right away from the blood and gore angle with a campaign designed to bring people together around the cause and give all Australian’s the chance to show their support for real Goverment action against whaling in the Southern Ocean.
It’s taken a dozen photographers, 26 well known Australians such as Nikki Webster, Barry Crocker, The Vines’ Hamish Rosser, The Cat Empire’s Felix Reibl and singer/songwriter Neridah Leishman and a whole public support to get off the ground but we’re well and truly cooking with it now
You can see more about the project and upload your photo at project551.org
You can see the TV launch ad below or here on YouTube.
You can see it featured on bestadsontv.com by clicking here, here and here.
You can see the posters below but you can’t quite read the copy so lucky it’s the same on all of them. It reads:
‘In 2008 the Government of Japan killed 551 whales in the Southern Ocean. Help us stop them killing more by adding your photo to project551.org‘
