AMNESTY THREE FREEDOMS
In 2010 Burma held general elections for the first time in 20
years. This campaign for Amnesty International took the opportunity
to launch a campaign demanding three freedoms for Burma: freedom of
expression, peaceful assembly and association.
Than campaign uses iPhone, online and Facebook as platforms to
capture content and sends letters to nine foreign ministers of
Burma's neighbours, all fully translated into their native
languages. Parts of the site also appear in all 9 languages.
One year on, over 110,000 actions have been taken with people
participating from over 50 countries.
